19th October - 26th January

Dippy, the Natural History Museum's iconic Diplodocus cast, is going on a natural history adventure across the UK. Never before on public display outside of the Natural History Museum, Dippy has delighted visitors since he arrived in London in 1905. The full skeleton (made up of 292 bones) in its displayed pose is an impressive 21.3 metres long, 4.3 metres wide and 4.17 metres high.

The Diplodocus species lived sometime between 156 and 145 million years ago.

Dippy will be at National Museum Cardiff at Cathays Park from Saturday 19th of October until the 26th of January.
